Lisa was born in Newark, DE.  She moved to Plainfield, NJ and then to Middletown, NJ. In her youth Lisa was involved with Special Olympics and the Monmouth County ARC. She graduated from Middletown High School North.  During her independent years she lived in Group Homes in Middletown, Pennington, and Clayton, NJ.  The most recent group homes were managed by Devereux.  She was active in her day programs where she enjoyed the various activities and the socialization that they offered.
Lisa enjoyed bowling, arts and crafts, coloring, music, dancing and watching her favorite TV shows and videos.  She gave the biggest and best hugs.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially going out for lunch or dinner. She had a blast planning and attending her own 50th birthday party - including creating the invitation list and requesting the DJ.  She was happily surprised by a large gathering of family!
Lisa was predeceased by her beloved parents George and Diane Snow, her stepmother, Elsa Mollo - Snow and her two sisters Michelle (Ben) and Jeanne. She is survived by her brothers George (Nancy) and Cliff and her sister Beth (Philip). Lisa was loved dearly by her nieces (Ashley, Julia, Emily and Sarah), nephew (Jonathan), aunts, uncles and cousins as well as her Group Home families and her many lifelong friends.
A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held on her 58th birthday, September 23, 2023 at Chris’ Family Restaurant.
In lieu of flowers, donations to either Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health NJ 1515 Burnt Mill Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003 (www.devereux.org) or Deborah Hospital Foundation, 212 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015 (www.Deborahfoundation.org) would be most meaningful and much appreciated by the family.
